Voodin Blade Technology installs first wooden wind turbine blades on German wind farmVoodin Blade Technology has announced the installation of its 19.3-meter wooden wind turbine blades on an existing wind turbine in Breuna, Germany.

These blades are crafted from Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL), a sturdy and sustainable material made by bonding thin layers of wood veneers together. The company utilises CNC milling machines for manufacturing, which allows for automation and flexibility in creating complex 3D shapes without the need for moulds. Voodin Blade Technology is currently focused on developing new prototypes, including larger 60-meter and 80-meter blades, as part of their ongoing efforts.
