Iberdrola has signed an agreement to acquire the 18.4% minority stake in its US subsidiary Avangrid, which it previously did not own. Iberdrola will acquire the additional capital for $35.75 per share, according to the company’s filing with the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Construction work begins on He Dreiht offshore wind farm in the North Sea

He Dreiht is being built roughly 85 kilometres northwest of Borkum and about 110 kilometres west of Helgoland. More than 500 employees will work on this large construction site in the middle of the sea at peak times. Over 60 ships are involved in the construction of the wind farm. EnBW’s offshore office in Hamburg is coordinating the project.
Jan De Nul orders new cable-laying vessel

Construction start for DolWin4 and BorWin4 between the German coast and Emden

Initially, the necessary horizontal drilling will be conducted between the North Sea coast and Emden.
