Vestas continued its growth in 2008 with a revenue of € 2,481 million and with an EBIT margin of 15.4 per cent compared to a revenue of € 1,884 milion and an EBIT margin of 12.3 per cent in fourth quarter 2007.

Total revenue in 2008 rose to € 6,035 million from € 4,861 million in 2007. At the same time, EBIT margin increased to 11.1 per cent from 9.1 per cent the year before. The growth in Vestas' underlying profitability is expected to continue in 2009, however, at a lower rate than realised during the last three years.
