Apex Clean Energy has announced the appointment of Ken Young to President and Chief Executive Officer. Since 2017, Young served as Apex’s Chief Operating Officer after joining the company in 2015 as Vice President of Operations.
Prior to joining Apex, Young worked for Vestas Wind Systems, where he oversaw technology support throughout the Americas, and he spent several years leading asset management, operations, and other functions at two start-up renewable energy companies. Young succeeds Mark Goodwin, who served as President since Apex’s infancy in 2009 and CEO since 2016. Goodwin will remain on Apex’s board of directors, facilitating a seamless transition of responsibilities and supporting the company’s continued progress.
