Applus+, operating in the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) sector, has announced the acquisition of the entire share capital of Barlovento Recursos Naturales S.L. (Barlovento), a wind energy technical advisory company.
The transaction has been completed, and Barlovento will be integrated into the Energy & Industry Division at Applus+. Barlovento is headquartered in Spain, with more than 140 employees and an annual revenue exceeding €13 million, primarily derived from Europe and Latin America. The services it provides include wind resource measurement and assessment, energy yield calculation, power curve measurement, testing and inspection, including measurement campaigns and accredited tests in its laboratories, such as mechanical loads, and engineering and technical advisory services.
