AqualisBraemar’s offshore wind consultancy unit, OWC, and the group’s dedicated ports and harbours unit are set to combine resources and know-how to support new port developments driven by the growth in offshore renewable energy.
To provide operators of ports and harbours, vessel owners and operators plus civil engineering consultants in charge of port modifications, OWC will be able to draw upon the specialist ports and harbours expertise from sister company AqualisBraemar. AqualisBraemar’s ports and harbours team specialises in providing marine studies, including technical due diligence, to assist in the development of new and existing port projects. Associated marine services include vessel manoeuvring simulations, navigation risk assessments, vessel movement and route simulations, anchor drag/dropped object modelling, grounding and allision risk analyses, dynamic mooring analyses as well as port capacity and utilisation studies to reduce operating costs in both port and offshore environments.
