Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica achieved consolidated turnover of € 1.38 billion in the third quarter of 2005, 32% more than the € 1.039 billion of the equivalent period in 2004. This increase is due mainly to increased sales of wind parks and wind turbines by Gamesa Energía and Gamesa Eólica respectively.
The company made a net consolidated profit of € 102 million in the first nine months of the year, 3% up on the equivalent period in 2004. The increase in turnover has resulted in a 26% rise in operating profits, though Gamesa has also adapted its new structure to this process of internationalisation and growth. Consolidated earnings before tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) totalled € 238.4 million, 21% up on the third quarter of 2004.
