Gurit’s Composite Materials business unit reported net sales of CHF 205.2 million for the first nine months of 2016.
The decrease compared with net sales of CHF 205.3 million for the first nine months of 2015 is mainly attributable to a weaker demand in the Chinese wind energy industry compared to the record year of 2015. Net sales to the wind energy industry totalled CHF 112.6 million, representing a decrease of -3.2% compared with net sales of CHF 116.3 million in the nine-month period of 2015.
