Head Energy is proud to announce the acquisition of a majority share of the Odense-based electrical engineering company DanGrid. DanGrid will become a subsidiary of Head Energy’s Danish group and continue under its new name, Head Energy DanGrid ApS.
In connection with the acquisition of DanGrid, Head Energy has modified the corporate structure in Denmark and Germany to support the expanding footprint. Mads Vinter Hansen has been appointed Director of Head Energy Denmark A/S, which will serve as the Danish holding company and administrative hub of the new setup. Anders Frederiksen will remain General Manager of the offshore wind consulting business, operating under the legal and commercial name Head Energy Denmark Consulting A/S going forward. Anders Frederiksen has spearheaded Head Energy’s offshore wind consulting in Denmark since the launch in 2016. Head Energy Germany will also continue its operations as a subsidiary of the new structure.
DanGrid was established in 2011 as an advisory electrical engineering company specializing in grid connection, wind power and power plants. DanGrid is based in Odense and has 8 employees, including management.
