MBCC Group has announced the acquisition of Nautec Group (Nautec), a manufacturer of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and cementitious composites for onshore and offshore wind turbine foundations, as well as for repair, strengthening and installation of offshore and marine structures.
Founded in Singapore in 2011, Nautec started in developing and manufacturing UHPC-based structural strengthening solutions for the energy industry in South East Asia. The company continued to grow organically into multiple markets, including renewables, ports and offshore, civil construction industries, as well as the downhole market. Nautec now operates five offices across Asia, Australasia, India, the Middle East, and the Americas. The company runs a fully automated production facility in Malaysia and R&D facilities. The parties agreed to keep the financial details of the transaction confidential.
