Natural Power has announced the official launch of EchoSense as an independent commercial business. EchoSense, a bat smart curtailment technology, was developed to meet growing market demand for advanced curtailment solutions and address the complexities of their implementation.
Establishing EchoSense as a dedicated business aims to enhance its focus and capabilities in this specialised field. Approved by the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), EchoSense offers an alternative to blanket curtailment by reducing bat fatalities at wind farms while minimising curtailment hours and associated energy losses.
