The Nordex Group has received orders for 271 wind turbine systems with a total output of 1,228.6MW in the third quarter of 2020 (Q3:2019: 1,700.3MW). The Delta4000-series turbines accounted for 86% of the orders.
In the first nine months of 2020, the company's total order intake (excluding its services business) amounted to 3,758.5MW (9M 2019: 4,738.7MW).In the third quarter, 31% of orders came from Europe, primarily from Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and France. Driven by two large projects in the USA, the North America region accounted for a 50% share. Latin America contributed 19% of new orders with projects in Colombia and Brazil.
