Effective as of the end of 2012, the Nordex Group will reduce the work force by around 130 positions at its rotor blade production facility in Dongying, China.
In doing so, it is responding to the declining capacity utilisation at its Chinese rotor blade production facility and the losses sustained in China. Until demand in China recovers Nordex will use external suppliers, who have previously worked for the company, to cover all of its rotor blade requirements for current and future contracts.
