Octopus Renewables, the clean energy investor arm of Octopus Group, has announced the appointment of Partha Vasudev, an offshore wind energy specialist. Partha has joined the London-based team as Investment Director.
In his role, Partha will lead the development and implementation of Octopus’ offshore wind investment strategy. Partha has over 12 years’ experience in the renewable energy investment sector. Most recently he spent three years at Macquarie’s Green Investment Group (GIG), where he was responsible for fundraising, investing and managing GIG’s £1.1 billion Offshore Wind Fund. Prior to Macquarie, Partha held roles at various organisations including Goldman Sachs, Hudson Clean Energy Partners, Centrica, and Oliver Wyman, where he started his career.
