On November 2, 2009, Power Composites, a BCWE subsidiary, announced that they have recently closed an asset purchase agreement with the Dutch Polymarin Holding BV, the mould and blade manufacturer, formerly part of the EWT group.

Through this acquisition, Power Composites has entered the rotor blade engineering, mould systems and manufacturing and its supply markets. Power Composites will start up its operations with the establishment of a centre of technology in The Netherlands. A manufacturing plant in Belgium is in preparation enabling production start-up during the first quarter of 2010. Power Composites will focus on the engineering and manufacturing of mould systems, rotor blade design and? production of prototype sets, test blades with certification services and transfer of manufacturing technology and the serial manufacturing and supply of rotor blades.
