Wiking Helikopter Service has received the second Airbus Helicopters H145 they ordered. One year ago, Wiking started the Helicopter fleet renewal with the first H145 D-HOAE.
Wiking’s second H145 will be applied to fulfil a contract providing helicopter services to the Galloper Windfarm offshore wind farm for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. The Galloper Windfarm is a 336 MW Project 30 kilometre off the coast of Suffolk, UK. The main service will be the hoist operation of service technicians for maintenance and “trouble shooting” to the wind turbines on site.
