The TechnoCentre éolien (TCE) has received a financial package in support of its research program on the intelligent integration of renewable energy and storage technologies in microgrids.
This program, which will last five years (2016-2021), will benefit from financial support in the amount of CAN$ 4.6 million from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and the Government of Quebec. Participating businesses will also be helping to finance this program in the context of various research projects. The primary objective of this program is to assist businesses in developing new solutions to reduce energy costs and curb greenhouse gases.
