As a result of this combination, the gearbox, the electrical installation, the blades and the general installation can all be assessed by specialised independent inspectors. An extensive total turbine inspection carried out by this combination is accepted by banks and insurers. For the total turbine inspection package, MECAL acts as the main contractor.
