The Spanish companies, Saitec Offshore Technologies and Univergy have signed an agreement for the creation of a SPA (Special Purpose Company) for the development of floating projects in Japan with SATH technology. SATH It is a floating platform of prestressed concrete consisting of two cylindrical and horizontal helmets with conical ends linked together through bar structures in sections.
Univergy International, is specialised in the development of renewable energy projects with an international presence in 12 countries. The company contributes to the new company with the contribution of know-how for the development of offshore plant projects in the Japanese territory where it develops offshore wind projects for more than 800MW. Saitec Offshore contributes to the new company with the contribution of technical know-how to provide basic engineering and produce designs for the development of offshore projects; the implementation of the SATH technology solution in the projects and the selection of equipment, and the construction of the project.
