To meet their customers’ growing demands and to have a logistical advantage, Wind-Fix Asia will open its second production facility in Tianjin China, close to wind turbine manufacturers.
The facility in Tianjin will (like its sister factory in Shanghai) focus on the manufacturing of blade connection systems and other related machining parts. The factory was opened in August and will expand to 100 employees by the end of 2010, giving the company a total of 250 employees in China. Rob Bierens COO of Multifix Group will lead this development process and has established himself in Tianjin.
