Xodus Group has expanded its renewables capabilities with the addition of a new wind analysis team. The new service line, which will be part of Xodus’ advisory unit, will offer energy yield analysis services across all stages of wind farm development, both offshore and onshore. The service will be led by Przemek Marek, who recently joined from K2 Management.
Initially a design engineer and aerodynamicist with a small-scale wind turbine manufacturer, he later joined a wind farm analysis consultancy where his focus was pre-construction wind energy assessments as well as development of technical policy and analysis tools. Over the last ten years, Przemek has worked on projects around the world including the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Chile, USA, Canada and South Korea.
Przemek will be supported by Rob Clayton, who joined Xodus last year from Wood. Rob has worked in the renewables industry since 2013 and achieved an engineering doctorate (EngD) in offshore renewable energy. His project experience includes conducting bank grade energy yield assessments of pre-construction onshore and offshore wind farms, including meteorological analysis, measure-correlate-predict (MCP) procedures, wind flow modelling including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and yield uncertainty analysis. He has worked on projects across the world including the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Ukraine, Pakistan and Taiwan.
