The most important small wind event of the year is approaching. The 5th edition of the World Summit for Small Wind will be held from 20 to 23 March 2014 in the NordseeCongressCentrum during the New Energy Husum exhibition.
The summit will feature the special topic of "Small Wind - Success Stories from all over the World", an overview of the benefits and impacts of the small wind industry in different countries and regions. Speakers from China, Cuba, Germany, India, Italy, South Korea, the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and the United States will also present the latest developments in and challenges facing the small wind sector. The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the IEA Task 27 will also present an update on its activities in the field of small wind turbines. The summit is organized jointly by the World Wind Energy Association and Messe Husum & Congress.
