The wind industry is built on the work of pioneering men and women, whose innovations have changed the face of our industry. The Poul la Cour Award recognises people who’ve made a unique contribution to wind power in Europe.
It’s a joint initiative between the Poul la Cour Foundation and WindEurope. And now they have opened nominations for this year’s award.
Anyone who’s made a unique and lasting improvement to the development and use of wind power in Europe. Candidates can cover a range of scientific disciplines, and can come from any age group, educational background, or length of service in the wind power sector. Nominations are open until 13 March. The winner will be informed of their selection by the Award Committee at the end of March, and the prize will be presented just after the WindEurope Annual Event Poster Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen, on 26 April.
