On behalf of MIRDC (Metal Industries Research & Development Center), TÜV SÜD is carrying out a training program regarding offshore wind energy for representatives of authorities and market participants in Taiwan.
It is planned to have 600 offshore wind turbines with an output of 3.000 MW to go into operation by 2030 in Taiwan. The training program is aimed to be a source of information for representatives of authorities, manufacturers, wind farm operators and other market participants on content and application of international norms and standards. The program will be running for two years and among other contents comprises the development and implementation of testing and certification processes as well as training programs for participants in Taiwan and Germany.
