Lagerwey Wind received the evaluation report of wind turbine L 82 with 2MW from GL Renewables Certification. The evaluation report contains all of the calculations for the successful certification of loads according to the IEC 61400-1, Edition 3.
Currently GL Renewables Certification is performing the design evaluation, which is the IEC equivalent to the GL Design Assessment. In the case of L 82, the assessment is based on IEC WT 01. The Lagerwey wind turbine L 82 was erected and commissioned in Grevenbroich, Germany in December 2009. It has been operating without detraction since it started to produce energy in February.
