The WNT Ultrasonic Anemometer is a sensor that accurately measure the wind speed and wind direction with no moving parts.

ImageThe rugged, all electronic microprocessor design, offers sensitivity for 0 to 60m/s velocity and 0 to 359° direction. Measured values are interfaced via RS232/RS422 or are supplied as 0..10V dc or 0/4..20mA output signal. Integrated transducer heating automatically clears ice, frost and dew from the WNT, maintaining operation over a -40° to +60°C range. Also available is a military version of the WNT, the WMG. The WMG is suitable for systems requiring extended temperature operation and increased EMI shielding.
