Sage Oil Vac introduces gear oil exchange system for wind turbines

Sage Oil Vac, a manufacturer of on-site lube equipment, has developed a lube system for changing gear oil in wind turbines.

The Gear Oil Exchange system features a vacuum system to evacuate used oil and a pump to refill with fresh fluids. The system can be easily operated by 2 technicians. Numerous trials and field uses have shown that oil exchange time is reduced from 8-10 hours per oil change to 1.5-2 hours.
