Sany Renewable Energy (Sany RE) has unveiled its latest 919 wind turbine platform. The 919 Platform adopts an integrated design, and products on the 919 Platform share structural components such as the hub, main shaft, and front bedplate.
Blades, gearboxes, and electrical systems are designed as modular systems to cover capacity from 8.5 MW to 11 MW wind turbines with rotor diametres ranging from 214 metres to 230 metres. Sany RE, with years of operation in the Chinese domestic market, aims, with the introduction of this new platform, to become a new player in the European market and other global markets.
