TÜV Rheinland has handed over a type certificate to Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Ming Yang for their 2MW wind turbine platform.
Type certification was provided for the Ming Yang MY121-2.0MW wind turbine according to the international standard IEC 61400-22:2010. The wind turbine incorporates a 120.4 meters rotor and has a hub height of 90 meters. The turbine is developed for low wind conditions. The project was undertaken in cooperation with China General Certification (CGC).
