Acciona inaugurates its first wind farm in Greece

On 16 July 2006, Acciona inaugurated the Panachaiko wind farm (34.85MW), the first implemented by the Group in Greece.

It consists of 41 850 kW wind turbines and represents an investment of € 41 million. The windpark is 72% owned by the Group, with the remaining 28% in the hands of Greek partners. An extension to the wind farm is planned with 16 wind turbines of 850 kW under the name of Panachaiko II, giving a total of 48.45MW.
