Acciona Windpower has begun the supply of one hundred AW 116/3000 wind turbines for the Green Pastures wind farm in Texas managed by Capital Dynamics.
They are equipped with 116-meter-diameter rotors and will be mounted on 92-meter-high steel towers. Supplies have already begun and the first phase, with a capacity of 150MW, is expected to be operational in March 2015. Acciona Windpower will also provide operation and maintenance services for 10 years.
