Limpet Technology has announced a deal with Allianz to install its Limpet safety system in turbines at the Longuyon wind farm, in Northern France.
Confirmation of the Allianz order provides Limpet Technology with its largest installation in Europe to date. Engineers from Limpet Technology installed the Limpet in a Siemens turbine at the French site in January this year. The installation allowed the owners and operators of the wind farm to trial the system over a period of four weeks.
