A2SEA A/S of Denmark, enjoyed a successful end to last year with the signing of two major contracts for 2007.
First to be signed was a contract with Siemens Wind Power A/S for the transport and installation of 48 turbines for Vattenfall's 110MW Lillgrund project off Malmø in the Baltic Sea.The company also signed a contract with Vestas for the supply of an installation vessel to install 60 turbines at the 120MW, Q7 Offshore Wind Farm off the Dutch coast near IJmuiden.
The work on the Lillgrund project will comprise the sea transport and offshore installation and is due to begin in the second half of 2007. The installation vessel Sea Energy will be used to erect the 60 towers and turbines for the Q7 Offshore Wind Farm.
