Enel Green Power has completed and connected to the grid Sureste I-Phase II wind farm, located in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.
The wind farm consists of 34 turbines of 3MW each, for a total installed capacity of 102MW and is able to generate approximately 390 GWh per year. Sureste I-Phase II will deliver the energy produced to the Mexican national electricity grid through the nearby Ixtepec Potencia substation and a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) is associated to the project. Enel Green Power invested approximately US$ 160 million in the new wind farm.
