Enel Green Power and Enerthi México have signed an agreement aimed at developing wind projects in Mexico, for an installed capacity of up to 1,000MW.
Under the agreement, Enel Green Power will have the exclusive access to
wind projects that will be developed by the Mexican subsidiary of the
Spanish company Enerthi (Energías Renovables, Térmica e Hidráulica), as
well as the right to acquire them once they are fully authorized. The
sites, which are in the States of Baja California, Zacatecas and
Oaxaca, each have a preliminary installed capacity ranging from 60 to
200MW.
