Epsiline and Iberwind have signed a lease contract for Epsiline’s YawAdvisor, a nacelle-mounted wind LiDAR, dedicated to yaw misalignment detection on wind turbines.
Iberwind, is a developer, owner and operator in Portugal and has a installed capacity of 726MW of wind energy. The leasing contract will cover a period of 4 to 6 weeks of data collection to determine and provide a detailed report of the yaw alignment on a wind turbine owned and operated by Iberwind.
Further Epsiline and EREN Renewable Energy have signed a contract for the supply of the company’s YawAdvisor to EREN’s subsidiary in Greece. EREN’s team of wind experts based in Athens, joined by members of the Epsiline team have recently installed the YawAdvisor for a campaign of data collection on a wind turbine at the wind farm Ptoon, situated approximately 100 kilometres North, North-West of Athens.
