 Planning consent for an eight turbine 6MW offshore wind farm around 15 kilometres south-east of Aberdeen has been granted by the Scottish Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy, Paul Wheelhouse.
Planning consent for an eight turbine 6MW offshore wind farm around 15 kilometres south-east of Aberdeen has been granted by the Scottish Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy, Paul Wheelhouse.
The floating development by Kincardine Offshore Windfarm Limited will:
- Support the creation of around 110 jobs during assembly, installation and through ongoing operations and maintenance activities
- Have a generating capacity up to a maximum of 50MW – enough to power the equivalent of almost 56,000 homes
