Gamesa has received the first order for the new G132-5.0MW, the company's largest turbine. The agreement reached with the renewable energy subsidiary of Sinohydro also constitutes the début order for the supply of turbines from the 5MW platform in Asia, specifically in China.
Under the terms of the contract, Gamesa will supply, install and commission 18 of these turbines (90MW) at the Nangang wind complex located in Tianjin. The turbines will supplied during the last quarter of 2017 and commissioned during the first quarter of 2018.
