Gamesa has closed the sale of a 15.3MW wind farm development in Scotland to international specialist investor and asset manager, John Laing.
The Carscreugh wind farm, located in Dumfries and Galloway Council (in south west Scotland), will be equipped with 18 Gamesa G52 turbines, each with a unit capacity of 850kW. Gamesa expects to install the wind turbines towards the end of this year and to commission the facility in the first quarter of 2014. Under the agreement, the company will also carry out operations and maintenance (O&M) services at the facility for 10 years.
