Gamesa has reached an agreement with builder Aldesa to supply 80MW of wind turbine capacity. The two wind farms are La Tella and Palomarejo located in the Spanish communities of Jumilla (Murcia) and Écija (Seville).
La Tella wind farm (50MW) will be equipped with 25 Gamesa G97-2.0MW turbines, while Palomarejo (30MW) will be powered by 15 Gamesa G90-2.0MW turbines. The company expects to deliver the turbines for both projects in the fourth quarter of 2011. In addition to supplying turbines, Gamesa will perform assembly and start-up activities at both sites. Gamesa will also provide operation and maintenance services for a period of five years.
