Gamesa has been hired to supply, transport, install and commission turbines with total capacity of 70MW at two wind farms located in Salamanca (Spain), owned by Cobra Energía.
Gamesa will supply 35 G90-2.0MW turbines to the Banderelas (36MW) and Rodera Alta (34MW) wind farms located in the towns of Santiz, Palacios de Arzobispo and Zamayón. The turbines are slated for delivery during the third quarter of 2011 and the wind farms will be commissioned at the end of this year. The agreement also contemplates O&M services, to be provided by Gamesa at both facilities for five years. Gamesa will control, supervise and monitor the wind farm’s operation management using its WindNet system.
