GE Drivetrain and A-Power sign agreements

GE Drivetrain Technologies, a unit of GE Transportation, and A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd. have announced that the companies have signed agreements for GE Drivetrain Technologies to supply A-Power with 2.7MW wind turbine gearboxes and to establish a Joint Venture partnership for a wind turbine gearbox manufacturing plant in China. The contracts follow the signing of letters of intent in January of this year.
