The 300MW offshore wind farm in Jiangsu, operated by Three Gorges New Energy (part of China Three Gorges (CTG), has been commissioned and connected to the grid as its last 6.45MW Golwind wind turbine started generating energy.Jiangsu Dafeng offshore wind farm is located in the Taipingsha waters, north of DongshaShazhou in Yancheng, Jiangsu province. The wind farm spans an area of 97 km2 and is located 45 km off the coastline. It is comprised of 73 wind turbines complemented by a 220 KV offshore voltage booster and an onshore control center.
