Munich Re acquires three UK wind farms

MEAG, the asset management subsidiary of Munich Re, has acquired for an undisclosed amount three wind farms in the UK with a total output of 102MW.

This investment is part of the RENT (Renewable Energies and New Technologies) programme, which aims to invest € 2.5 billion. The vendor is an investment fund from the private equity investor HgCapital.
