Renewables developer npower renewables has appointed Natural Power as a consultant at the pre-planning stage on Triton Knoll Wind Farm, located approximately 33km (18 nautical miles) off the Lincolnshire coast in the Greater Wash.
Natural Power's commission forms part of a multi-consultancy consortia
which is led by construction company KBR. This collaboration between
multiple firms is a reflection of the broad base of skills necessary
for the development of offshore wind energy; Natural Power will
specifically contribute their skills in offshore wind resource
assessment, wind data collection, energy yield prediction and turbine
layout optimisation.
