CT Offshore’s Cable Laying Vessel SIA installed the first cable on DONG Energy’s Gode Wind Offshore Wind Farm in the German part of the North Sea.
SIA will install all of the 97 inter-array cables. The crew on board SIA had been waiting for good weather to install the first cable on Gode Wind since last Thursday and on the morning of 8 June, the weather had settled for the installation. The new CTO 107-1100 trencher ROV will start burial of the cables within 2-3 weeks from now.
