REpower Systems AG has inked an agreement with Klågerup Kraft AB for the delivery of three wind turbines to Sweden. The REpower MM92 turbines, each with a rated power of 2.05MW, are intended for a wind farm project near the city of Malmö (Skåne province).
It is developed and partly owned by HS Kraft AB. The wind farm Klågerup is slated for installation and operation by late fall 2011. At the same time, the company founded REpower Systems Scandinavia AB, a Swedish subsidiary. The company is registered in Stockholm. In September, REpower will also open an office in Västerås, roughly 100 km west of Stockholm.
