Nordex will supply and install 27 AW132/3465 turbines with a rated capacity totalling 93.55MW for its new customer, Grupo Enhol. The order also includes a service contract covering 10 years with an option to extend for a further 10.
The Cabanillas project with 15 turbines and Ablitas project with 12 turbines are to be built in the municipalities of Cabanillas and Ablitas in the province of Navarra in the north of Spain. Turbine installation is scheduled to begin in March 2020 and commissioning is planned to commence in June 2020. Grupo Enhol is to sell the electricity to the energy supplier Factorenergia over a period of 20 years on the basis of a Power Purchase Agreement.
