Palfinger’s marine business has secured an order for two jetty cranes, which have recently been installed in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, at the maintenance base for the new Borssele 1 and 2 offshore wind farms.While the wind farm is still under construction, the base has already commenced operations. The installation of the two PTM600 telescopic boom cranes is completed, and operations have recently started. The cranes will be used for loading and unloading cargo on and off Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs). The cranes have a safe working load (SWL) of 2 tons and an outreach of 17.7 meters.
