With the closing of two more contracts, PowerWind GmbH sold the 50th wind energy converter type PowerWind 56 in Italy.
Since its beginning, PowerWind GmbH has now completed the sale of more
than 60 wind turbines with an output of 900 kW each. The company has
also concluded agreements for projects in Germany, Poland, Romania and
Bulgaria. The two latest companies which have purchased the PowerWind
56 are Pitta Energia SpA and Sistemi Energetici SpA each with four wind
energy converters. The wind turbines will be erected at various
locations in Apulia. Delivery and installation are planned for 2009.
